Aligning culture and strategy through shared purpose and service.

I partner with organizations to clarify direction, strengthen culture, and support leadership over time.

How I Approach Culture & Strategy

When culture and strategy are aligned, organizations move with greater clarity and confidence. When they’re not, even the best plans struggle to take hold.

My approach to culture and strategy work is grounded in listening first. I take time to understand your community — its history, its strengths, and the realities leaders and staff are navigating. From there, we work together to clarify direction and create shared understanding about how people want to show up for one another in service of communities.

This work isn’t about importing a framework or delivering a fixed plan. It’s about creating alignment that feels authentic, practical, and sustainable — rooted in the values of the people doing the work every day.

What This Work Supports

Culture and strategy support is shaped collaboratively and may include:

  • Clarifying vision, purpose, and priorities

  • Supporting board and leadership alignment

  • Strengthening trust and communication across roles

  • Connecting values to daily practice and decision-making

  • Supporting change, transitions, and long-range planning

Whether you are refining an existing strategy or navigating a new chapter, the focus remains the same: helping leaders and teams move forward with shared understanding and intention.

Working with Boards

I work closely with governing boards that are committed to thoughtful leadership and public service.

This work often includes facilitating conversations between board members and leadership teams, supporting alignment around roles and responsibilities, and helping groups navigate complex decisions with clarity and care.

In organizations, strategy cannot be separated from culture. The way decisions are made, communicated, and carried out matters just as much as the plan itself. My role is to help create the conditions where trust, collaboration, and purpose can guide that work.

What Partnership Looks Like

Culture and strategy work takes time. Rather than one-time engagements, this work often unfolds through ongoing partnership — allowing space for reflection, adjustment, and continued learning.

Partnerships may include:

  • These sessions create space for leaders to step out of the day-to-day and look together at what matters most. I facilitate planning conversations that help groups clarify priorities, align around shared goals, and name the commitments that will guide their work moving forward. The focus isn’t just on what we plan, but how we make decisions together — with intention, transparency, and care.

  • Board retreats and study sessions offer an opportunity to pause, reflect, and strengthen how boards work together in service of their communities. I help boards engage in thoughtful dialogue around roles, governance, and shared responsibility, creating space for trust, clarity, and productive collaboration. These sessions are designed to support healthy boards and strengthen the relationship of governance teams.

  • Leadership team support focuses on strengthening how leaders communicate, collaborate, and lead together. Through facilitated conversations and ongoing reflection, I help teams build shared understanding, navigate challenges, and stay connected to purpose in the midst of complex work. This support is responsive and adaptive — shaped by the needs and realities leaders are facing in real time.

  • Some work benefits from a steady, trusted partner. Ongoing advisory and reflection provides space for leaders to think aloud, reflect on decisions, and stay grounded as circumstances evolve. This partnership enables continued learning, course correction, and alignment over time, supporting leaders as they lead with clarity and intention.

If your organization is seeking greater alignment, stronger culture, and a more grounded path forward, I’d be honored to partner with you.
